Overview In this role, you underwrite and service E&O liability business, with a focus on Miscellaneous E&O and Lawyers Professional Liability. You work within guidelines to meet profitability and premium targets, handling submissions, pricing, terms, and quotations. You collaborate with brokers, claims, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, timely service. Responsibilities- Review and quote submissions; set terms and conditions; prepare quotes, binders, and invoices within authority
- Pricing analysis to meet premium and profitability goals
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and procedures
- Coordinate with Claims on claim activity and liaise as needed
- Obtain necessary approvals from management and follow internal authority levels
- Participate in broker marketing meetings and client/broker meetings as directed
- Adhere to treaty and facultative reinsurance protocols
- Keep current with major industry issues and developments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years underwriting experience in related line
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Solid writing and communication skills
