Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice on trusts, estates, and tax matters to high net worth clients
- Lead and mentor a team of attorneys in the trusts and estates practice area
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Develop and implement strategies for tax-efficient wealth transfer and estate planning
- Manage complex estate and trust administration, including probate matters
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Stay updated on changes in tax and estate laws to provide the best advice to clients
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active attorney license in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in trusts and estates law
- Strong knowledge of tax law as it pertains to estate planning
- Proven ability to work with high net worth individuals and families
