Overview In this role you support the company's legal operations across corporate matters, governance, regulatory and privacy compliance, and transactional work. You will draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements, manage books and records, and coordinate with outside counsel and third parties. You contribute to the company's data security, insurance program, and broader legal functions including M&A, real estate, and litigation support. The position offers exposure to domestic and international compliance and strategic business initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Oversee general corporate legal matters
- Negotiate and draft customer and vendor contracts and other transactional matters
- Assist with legal and regulatory compliance
- Assist with corporate governance and books/records management
- Assist with privacy law compliance and data security program
- Assist with managing the company's insurance program and operations
- Support various legal matters including loans, joint ventures, acquisitions, construction, real estate, IP protection, tax abatements, and litigation
- Manage collections on customer accounts
- Collaborate with outside counsel, counterparties, insurers, and other third parties as needed
Key requirements- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Bar admission in a U.S. state or D.C.
- Five or more years of experience in a general corporate transactional practice
- Hands-on, self-starter, disciplined and detail-oriented
- Independent and team-oriented with high-quality output
