Overview In this role you join Nelson Mullins' commercial litigation team in the Miami office to support high level litigation for regional clients. You will work with a skilled group of courtroom experienced attorneys and contribute to a multilingual, diverse office serving Florida, the Caribbean, and Central/South America. You will tackle complex disputes, leverage your research and persuasive writing, and advance client experiences in both state and federal court. Responsibilities- Lead and participate in depositions (taken and defended)
- Conduct legal research and write persuasive briefs and motions
- Advocate in court hearings and trials in state and federal courts
- Collaborate with a senior team to manage client matters and strategy
- Support client service excellence and courtroom readiness across jurisdictions
Key requirements- 6+ years of meaningful commercial litigation experience
- Admitted to the Florida Bar in Good Standing
- Experience in both federal and state court litigation
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with taking and defending depositions
- Proficiency in legal research and persuasive writing
