Craft Recruiter

As a Construction/Craft Recruiter at Kiewit, you will support multiple market areas in finding and hiring skilled craft professionals for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will partner with site teams and operations to deliver fast, reliable talent in a high-volume environment, shaping workforce plans and onboarding top candidates. • Develop strong relationships with Site Points of Contact, candidates, and Project Operations to ensure excellent service during hiring
• Recruit, screen, and interview candidates and present top talent to Operations for high-volume needs
• Facilitate internal transfers and referrals ensuring timely transitions
• Manage 30-50 job openings simultaneously (Equipment Operators, Carpenters, Pipe-layers, etc.)
• Utilize SuccessFactors ATS and social media/job boards to source candidates
• Network to attract active and passive candidates and build pipelines (career fairs, conferences, outreach)
• Extend offers and guide candidates through onboarding
• Stay informed on recruiting trends and align with Kiewit's business priorities
• Collaborate with Operations leadership for workforce planning and project needs
• Understand union and nonunion craft management practices; train hiring managers on processes and requisitions within ATS
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws to ensure compliance

• 3+ years of experience recruiting craft professionals in infrastructure construction (e.g., Equipment Operators, Carpenters, Pipe-layers, Concrete Finishers, welders, riggers)
• Experience supporting US craft hiring preferred
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
• Agile and creative sourcing strategies with ability to pivot to new markets
• Attention to detail across systems for accuracy
• Experience in relevant markets: oil/gas/petrochemical, industrial facilities, mining, infrastructure, transportation, power, water and wastewater
• Ability to manage 20-30 hires per week in a high-volume environment
• HR knowledge: EEOC, FLSA, diversity recruiting; interview best practices
• Knowledge of union and non-union craft management practices
• Experience with ATS systems; SuccessFactors preferred
• Ability to work independently and in teams; proactive in moving hiring forward
• Proven performance in sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and closures
