Overview In this role, you will lead mission-critical construction programs from planning through turnover, delivering high-availability facilities on time and within budget. You'll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and controls systems while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. You'll manage risks, contracts, and client communications, shaping fast-paced projects in data centers and similar infrastructure. This role offers visible impact at scale, with accountability for successful commissioning and handover to operations.

Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of mission-critical construction projects (planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover)
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and change control to meet scope and cost targets
- Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams for MEP and controls integration
- Implement risk management and contingency planning for uptime-critical environments
- Manage contracts and subcontractors, including scope, performance, and safety/QA enforcement
- Serve as primary client/stakeholder point of contact; present status and technical updates to leadership
- Establish QA/QC processes, inspection plans, and testing protocols aligned with mission-critical requirements
- Oversee commissioning, handover, and ensure performance targets are met
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in methodologies
- Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with codes, permits, and site programs
Key requirements- 8+ years in progressive construction/project management
- minimum 5 years managing mission-critical construction projects (data centers, colocations, high-availability infrastructure)
- expertise in project and construction management methodologies (schedule, cost, risk, change control)
- experience delivering mission-critical systems (power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, fire suppression, controls)
- strong contract and vendor management with large subcontract packages
- excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management with owners, design teams, contractors, and operations
- experience with commissioning and handover processes for mission-critical facilities
- proficiency with project controls tools (scheduling software, cost management systems) and MS Office
