Overview In this role you will lead defense litigation for bodily injury matters across general and product liability, with emphasis on gig-economy cases. You will join a collaborative team in Atlanta, handling cases from inception to resolution and growing into higher levels of responsibility. You'll work closely with partners and clients, shaping strategy, and delivering timely updates. Responsibilities- Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload from start to finish
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff in a team-driven environment
- Handle all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial
- Develop and implement case strategies aligned with client goals
- Maintain regular client communication with updates, analysis, and recommendations
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related documents
- Evaluate liability and damages and assist in negotiating settlements when appropriate
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Georgia and in good standing
- 9+ years of litigation experience in civil defense matters (e.g., general liability, premises liability, personal injury, product liability, gig-economy, auto/transportation)
- Strong analytical, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling client communications and building client relationships
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative culture
- First chair trial experience
- Familiarity with legal project management and litigation technology (preferred)
