Lead HR Business Partner (Nuclear)

Overview

In this role you partner with senior leaders in designated business units to align people programs with the company's strategic goals. You act as the face of HR for leaders up to VP/GM level, delivering advanced guidance and driving the development and implementation of people initiatives. You lead organizational assessments, apply data-driven insights, and manage change efforts to improve capability and performance. You work cross-functionally with Centers of Excellence and legal to reduce risk and ensure compliance. This position offers a strategic, autonome role focused on shaping people solutions in a nuclear-focused business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate discussions on people and talent programs within the business units
  • Provide HR guidance to leadership up to VP/GM level (non-officer)
  • Analyze trends and metrics, recommending solutions to drive outcomes
  • Tell compelling data stories and communicate relevant data to stakeholders
  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify root causes of performance gaps
  • Maintain knowledge of labor relations and compliance; partner with Legal as needed
  • Provide day-to-day leadership coaching for leaders up to VP/GM level
  • Collaborate with leaders to improve relationships, morale, productivity, and retention
  • Translate HR policies into actionable guidance for the business
  • Lead change management initiatives and coordinate with CoE
  • Develop and present data-driven HR proposals and presentations
  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder management
  • Identify training and coaching needs using insights and data
  • Navigate sensitive information with empathy and clarity
  • Advocate for improvements in employee experience and work environment
Key requirements
  • Five (5)+ years of HR or related experience with a degree or seven (7)+ years without a degree
  • Bachelor in Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced to Mastery proficiency level in HR capabilities
  • Ability to provide strategic HR recommendations grounded in business analysis
  • Strong change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
