Overview

In this role, you will actively manage E&O claims within the Professional Liability and Cyber Claims Group, shaping outcomes for complex cases. You will work with cross-functional partners to evaluate coverage, investigate claims, and steer defense strategy toward cost-effective, fair resolutions. This position offers the chance to apply law and policy expertise to high-stakes professional liability matters, including cyber and class actions, within a growing global firm. Responsibilities
  • Actively manage E&O claims within the Professional Liability/Cyber Claims Group
  • Evaluate policy coverage and draft coverage correspondence
  • Conduct claims investigations and assess liability and exposure
  • Coordinate with defense counsel and monitor legal spend
  • Negotiate cost-effective, good faith resolutions
  • Oversee documentation and compliance of client files from an audit perspective
  • Lead and drive defense strategy for complex claims
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve claims
Key requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in insurance/legal field dealing with Professional Lines claims
  • In-depth understanding of policy language and coverage
  • Experience managing, evaluating, mediating, and negotiating E&O claims including class actions
  • Ability to lead and drive defense strategy
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. legal system, civil litigation, and ADR
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state laws applicable to Financial and Professional Lines policies
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, be proactive, and stay organized
  • Bachelor's degree; Juris Doctorate preferred
