Overview

In this role you lead strategic workstreams on pricing, product strategy, and actuarial risk within the RPS Pricing and Risk team. You'll translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations for senior leaders and support governance through robust reporting and rate-setting processes. You'll work with cross-functional partners to drive initiatives from design to implementation, balancing data insights with credible executive communication. This is a high-impact position that combines analytics, storytelling, and cross-team influence to shape pricing and risk outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead workstreams on strategic initiatives from scope to implementation with limited day-to-day oversight
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders across Finance, Product, Investments, and Risk
  • Evaluate market dynamics, profitability, and risk exposures to deliver actionable insights
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly reporting on product performance, pricing, and risk governance; support stable value rate setting
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and data visualization to raise quality and efficiency
Key requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in pricing, product, reporting, or risk management in financial services
  • Proven ability to manage a project end-to-end across multiple stakeholders
  • Executive presence with clear, credible communication and influence
  • Strong technical understanding of actuarial, mathematical, and financial concepts
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and at least one analytics tool (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL, Dataiku, Power BI)
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • Professional designation or progress toward one (e.g., FSA/ASA/CFA)
