Overview In this role you will support multi-state clients with unclaimed property matters across audit defense, voluntary compliance, and reporting. You will work within the SALT practice to review processes, develop policies, and assist audit discussions, contributing to accurate reporting and risk management. You'll partner with KPMG audit teams to analyze reserves and improve controls. Responsibilities- Assist multi-state clients with unclaimed property matters including audit defense, voluntary compliance, annual reporting, policy development, and advisory support
- Prepare clients for auditor discussions, manage document requests, review audit assessments, and represent clients in meetings
- Evaluate unclaimed property compliance processes and recommend improvements
- Support KPMG audit teams with review and analysis of unclaimed property reserves
Key requirements- Minimum three years of unclaimed property experience including audit defense, voluntary compliance, process reviews, and policy development
- Bachelor's degree,JD, LL.M. in Taxation, or MST from an accredited institution
- Financial statement audit experience
