Overview

In this HR Business Partner role, you will align HR practices with business priorities to support growth through people. You'll partner with leaders to shape workforce plans, strengthen employee relations, and drive development initiatives. You'll help build a culture of learning, engagement, and accountability while delivering practical guidance on policy, performance, and talent processes. This is a people-focused role in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that values trustworthy, data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders on business and workforce priorities and monitor headcount, vacancies, hiring, turnover, engagement, and internal movement.
  • Provide employee relations and compliance support; lead workplace investigations and guide performance and corrective-action processes.
  • Develop manager capabilities through guidance on goal setting, feedback, documentation, and policy application.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and create a positive employee experience.
  • Coordinate talent and development programs, including performance reviews, succession planning, and learning administration.
  • Strengthen engagement and culture through surveys, recognition, inclusion efforts, and communications.
  • Reinforce safety and employment compliance with HR and EHS on safety initiatives, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Support compensation, organizational, and change initiatives, including market data and job evaluations, and related communications.
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, performance management, recruiting, engagement, or HR operations
  • Foundational knowledge of employment laws and escalation when needed
  • Ability to apply policies consistently with empathy and accountability
  • Strong listening, clear communication, confidentiality, and follow-through
  • Comfort coordinating HR processes, analyzing information, and making practical recommendations
  • Effective verbal and written communication across levels
