Project Manger

In this role, you lead heavy highway, bridge, and civil projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to quality and safety standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive schedules, budgets, and contract compliance, shaping outcomes on critical infrastructure projects. Your efforts will focus on risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring regulatory and quality benchmarks are met. • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of heavy highway, bridge, and civil projects with focus on safety, quality, and contract compliance
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost reports; implement actions to meet financial targets
• Develop and manage project schedules (critical path, look-ahead) and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage contract administration including change orders, claims, and documentation to protect project/company interests
• Oversee onsite construction activities and provide technical guidance ensuring drawings, specs, and standards are followed
• Utilize Procore and other CM tools to maintain documentation, progress tracking, and stakeholder communications
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation to minimize schedule and cost impacts
• Lead procurement coordination and resource planning for labor, equipment, and materials
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships via regular reporting and transparent communication
• Enforce OSHA safety programs and regulatory compliance and promote continuous improvement and quality assurance

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum 7 years in heavy highway, heavy civil, or bridge construction with proven project delivery
• Experience with project controls: budgets, forecasting, schedule maintenance (MS Project or similar)
• Hands-on Procore or similar CM platform experience for document control, RFIs/submittals, and reporting
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, civil practices, and heavy equipment operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management; experience supervising field and office teams
• Experience managing subcontractors and contract change management
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, QC, and regulatory compliance
• Professional PMP/CCM/PE certifications are a plus; valid driver's license required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; scheduling software; basic familiarity with AutoCAD or civil drawings
