Overview As Senior Manager, Human Resources, you partner with business leaders to shape and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports growth and a high-performing culture. You will lead a small HR team across HR, Training, and Compliance, advising senior leadership and translating business priorities into practical people initiatives. The role covers talent, organizational development, workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, and change management across the US and parts of the Americas. You drive transformation, policy modernization, and workforce analytics to enable strategic decisions, with a clear impact on organizational capability and continuity.
Responsibilities- Act as senior HR partner to leadership and member of NA Leadership Team
- Translate business priorities into integrated HR and workforce strategy
- Coach leaders on talent, culture, workforce planning, and change
- Lead a team of five (HR, Training, Compliance) and develop succession
- Oversee HR strategy in the US, with oversight for China and advisory support for Brazil
- Drive talent reviews, succession, performance management, compensation, recruiting, onboarding, mobility, engagement, and development
- Partner with Corporate HR, Legal on growth initiatives, M&A, integrations, restructuring, and organizational design
- Provide leadership on complex employee and labor relations matters and investigations
- Use workforce data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and inform decisions
- Oversee benefits and payroll execution; assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Champion an agile, inclusive, innovative, high-performing culture aligned with Arkema values
- Lead and shape change management for reorganizations, digital transformation, and new ways of working
- Guide AI-enabled tool adoption with a focus on readiness and governance
- Develop practical strategies to build skills for future success
- Modernaize and integrate US HR policies across entities
- Build partnerships with Corporate HR, Centers of Excellence, Legal, and leaders across the US and globally
- Support inclusive talent and workforce practices and ensure compliance and data integrity
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of progressive HR experience in a global context
- 3 years of leading and developing a team
- Broad HR expertise across talent, employee relations, compensation, performance, planning, development, and practices
- Experience leading projects and organizational change
- Experience using analytics and KPIs to influence decisions
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and risk management
- Experience working across cultures, functions, and matrixed organizations
- Ability to develop practical HR solutions and improve processes
