Overview In this role you will join Baker McKenzie's North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group to handle labor and employment disputes for multinational clients. You will work across Chicago, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, tackling multijurisdictional class/collective actions and high-stakes litigation. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, actionable guidance in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- litigate labor and employment matters including multijurisdictional class/collective actions
- handle a diverse range of employment issues from counseling to complex disputes
- work as part of a fast-paced, cross-office team in a global firm
- convey strong legal analysis and writing to clients and internal teams
- contribute to high-stakes litigation strategy and case management
- assist in developing firm capabilities in domestic and international employment law
Key requirements- 3-5 years of employment litigation experience
- strong academic credentials and writing ability (e.g., Law Review)
- excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
- experience at major law firms preferred
- federal judicial clerkship a plus
- admitted and in good standing of the California or Illinois Bar
- ability to function in a fast-paced, culturally diverse team
