Overview In this role, you will strengthen the reliability, scalability, and performance of Relativity's core IT infrastructure supporting Terran R manufacturing, test, and engineering. You'll own Linux systems administration across on-prem and cloud environments, providing advanced AD/DNS/DHCP and backup services while collaborating with senior engineers. You will mentor junior admins, standardize day-to-day operations, and help drive automation to support rapid company growth. This is a hands-on role at a fast-moving space company, offering meaningful impact on how we build rockets and scale operations.

Responsibilities- Enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure for manufacturing and operations
- Own Linux systems administration across on prem and cloud (Azure/GCP) environments, including automation and maintenance
- Provide advanced support for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backups to ensure uptime and compliance
- Collaborate with senior systems engineers to translate designs into operational systems and smooth handoffs
- Mentor junior administrators and standardize routine tasks to improve efficiency and depth of expertise
Key requirements- 6+ years of progressive Linux and Windows systems administration in enterprise or mission-critical settings
- Deep Linux expertise: configuration management, patching, performance tuning
- Strong understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik)
- Solid networking fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot at the network/system boundary
- Experience managing large environments with emphasis on reliability, automation, and documentation
