Overview In this role you oversee construction projects to drive timely, safe, and high-quality completion. You'll work with cross-functional teams to manage schedules, safety, and field operations across multiple sites. You'll engage with owners and architects to build confidence and deliver on turnover and close-out milestones. You'll influence project outcomes through rigorous planning, quality control, and proactive communication, in a dynamic, field-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Perform duties of Assistant Superintendent/Project Engineer
- Enforce safety training and procedures
- Verify subcontractor insurance certificates
- Maintain CPM project schedule
- Coordinate field construction team including subcontractors
- Ensure quality control standards
- Plan materials and tools to avoid shortages
- Prepare reports (timesheets, work orders, daily reports, invoices)
- Complete punchlists and close-out documentation
- Review drawings, specs, and submittals
- Lead pre-job conferences and subcontractor meetings
- Conduct start-up testing and turnover to Owner
- Travel and supervise multiple projects across large geographic area
- Perform other assigned responsibilities
Key requirements- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience (4 years as Assistant Superintendent)
- Extensive field construction supervisory experience
- STS Certification or commitment to obtain within six months of hire
- Knowledge of reading specifications for all trades; experience as foreman/journeyman or project engineer
- Knowledge of OSHA laws
- Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
