Overview

As a Benefits Manager, you will shape and oversee North America benefit programs to attract, retain, and engage employees. You'll lead benefit strategy, manage key vendor relationships, and ensure plans are competitive, compliant, and aligned with employee needs. You will coordinate cross functionally to deliver enrollment events, regulatory filings, and accurate program administration. This role offers impact through improving plan design in a global organization while supporting a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
  • Lead benefit program strategy by benchmarking market trends and recommending enhancements
  • Manage major benefits projects (Open Enrollment, ACA reporting, 401(k) nondiscrimination testing, annual audits) with cross functional coordination
  • Oversee vendor relationships including renewals, performance, and broker/carrier/service levels
  • Collaborate with HR teams across North America to resolve benefit issues and ensure consistent administration
  • Develop benefits communications, dashboards, guides, and training for employees and HR partners
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation across federal, state, and provincial levels
  • Maintain SOPs and systems documentation for scalable, audit ready benefits operations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive benefits experience with US/Canada regulatory knowledge
  • Experience in global organizations, M&A, healthcare, or multi unit retail a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of integrated benefits and HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
