Overview

As Specialist - HR Operations, you will manage HR services for the Miami team, maintaining accurate records and HR systems while partnering with global colleagues on payroll, benefits, compliance and support. You will serve as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth operations aligned with Accelya's strategy and values. You'll tackle payroll inputs, onboarding/offboarding, data integrity, and routine inquiries, contributing to a compliant and efficient HR function. This role offers exposure to global HR processes in a dynamic, multicultural software environment and a chance to influence how we support a growing airline industry.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate payroll administration, benefits enrollment and changes, leave processes, and employee relations with local/global HR
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding activities including documentation and system updates
  • Maintain personnel records and safeguard data per policies and recordkeeping requirements
  • Administer day-to-day HR processes and update HR systems (Workday, TriNet)
  • Serve as first contact for payroll questions and validate payroll inputs and audit results
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams
  • Prepare HR reports and monitor workforce data for accuracy
  • Support HR policies, programs and communications, coordinating with Legal and Operations
  • Assist with compliance for federal/state/local employment requirements and track deadlines
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years in HR operations/HR administration or HR Generalist with lifecycle support
  • Strong payroll administration and benefits process experience
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with HRIS such as Workday or TriNet
