Overview

Join Gallagher Re's REACH Program as a Catastrophe Risk Analyst to accelerate your career in reinsurance risk management. You will work with cross-functional clients to audit and model data, translate model outputs into clear insights, and support risk transfer strategies. The program combines hands-on project work with seminars and mentoring, aimed at developing expertise for advisory and technical leadership. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to audit, enhance, and model insurance data sets
  • Explain model outputs clearly and prepare compelling written reports
  • Present analysis summaries to internal and external clients to spark discussions and shape strategies
  • Provide real-time event response and analysis of catastrophic events
  • Analyze large data sets to uncover insights and develop risk mitigation solutions
  • Participate in seminars and work toward the ARe designation and other licenses
  • Contribute to client guidance on risk transfer and coverage solutions
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, statistical modeling)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL for training (expenses covered)
