Human Resources Business Partner - Tax

Job description

Overview

As an HRBP for Baker Tilly's Tax Service Line, you align people strategy with business goals, partnering with ESO leaders to shape workforce plans and leadership development. You will coach managers, drive talent reviews, and support performance and compensation processes. You'll lead organizational development and change efforts, using data to guide decisions and promote an inclusive, high-performing culture. This role offers impact across the Tax practice in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR partnership with business leaders to translate goals into HR actions
  • Support succession planning, talent reviews and leadership development
  • Facilitate performance management and compensation review processes; coach leaders
  • Drive organizational development and change initiatives; support workforce planning and employee engagement
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) to identify trends and propose data-driven solutions
  • Support learning and development initiatives to raise skills and leadership capabilities
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive culture
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist role
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR policies, talent management and organizational development
  • Strong business acumen to align HR with organizational objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive issue resolution
  • High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
  • Experience with organizational change and fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
