Overview In this role you will lead full-cycle recruitment to attract technical talent that supports Targa's engineering-focused initiatives. You will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to align talent needs with business goals and ensure compliant, timely hiring. You will shape sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and guide selections to improve candidate experience and time-to-hire. This position offers impact through analytics, process improvements, and close collaboration across teams. You'll help communicate the company value to prospective engineers to attract top-caliber talent.
Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment process from requisition to offer letter creation
- Source candidates through targeted platforms, direct sourcing, networking, and professional organizations
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBP to identify skill gaps and align with business needs
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand business context
- Develop sourcing solutions and provide excellent customer service
- Create requisitions and ensure alignment of description and requirements with business needs
- Conduct resume screening and assist in pre-screening and recruiting needs
- Provide timely, actionable updates to HR and management
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and practices for efficiency and scalability
- Maintain accurate ATS data ensuring consistency and compliance
- Advise leadership on talent markets and effective selection strategies
- Partner with hiring teams to set expectations and drive timely hiring decisions
- Leverage recruitment analytics to optimize workflows and candidate experience
- Serve as an ambassador of the organization to attract high-caliber talent
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 5+ years of recruiting experience
- Strong understanding of engineering recruitment across multiple disciplines
- Proven track record in developing and executing recruiting strategies
- Deadline-oriented with ability to achieve goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication across organizational levels
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Experience managing 3rd party recruiting agencies
- Strong attention to detail and customer service
- Willingness to travel for recruiting events
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
