Senior Construction Manager

In this role you lead construction management on large-scale projects within GFT's Construction Services Team, guiding pre-bid activities through project closeout. You ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to minimize risk and support client objectives. You will drive value through constructability reviews, change management, and commissioning support, including SCADA and post-construction services. This is a high-impact, field-based leadership role with relocation for a multi-year project and a focus on infrastructure that improves communities.

• Provide pre-bid services, including bid document reviews, constructability reviews, and cost estimates
• Support during bidding phase and process shop drawings and contractor deliverables
• Lead construction change management, negotiations, and change order preparation
• Provide resident engineering and inspection services, schedule review and analysis
• Ensure quality assurance, material testing, and maintenance of project files
• Participate in value engineering studies and support Envision process
• Conduct claims avoidance, analysis, and resolution
• Coordinate utility services during construction and mitigate plant operation impact
• Oversee commissioning services including SCADA, startup and project closeout
• Coordinate permitting and other services for facility completion and operation
• Provide construction management field office support and alternative delivery method assistance
• Support safety compliance through health, safety, and environmental plans and site audits
• Assist with coordination of safety with contractors
• Support County safety personnel and permit coordination
• Oversee long-term project delivery and post-construction activities

• Minimum 20 years of demonstrated experience in project management or construction management of large projects
• Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant CM or Construction
• Professional Engineer (PE) mandatory
• CCM and program management experience preferred
