Overview

In this role you will drive end-to-end talent acquisition for an oil & gas organization in the Houston area, partnering with leaders to fill technical, engineering, operations, HSE, and corporate roles. You will build strong talent pipelines, coordinate a seamless interview process, and support business growth through strategic recruiting. You will promote the employer brand and provide market insights to guide hiring decisions in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity lets you shape hiring strategy while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet growth plans.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and design targeted recruiting plans
  • Source and attract candidates for technical, engineering, operations, and corporate roles in Oil & Gas
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines via networking, job boards, LinkedIn, and events
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communications to ensure a smooth hiring experience
  • Track recruiting metrics, market trends, and talent availability to inform decisions
  • Promote employer brand and represent the company at recruiting events and career fairs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and best practices
  • Build partnerships with hiring managers and external recruiters as advisory support
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and stakeholders for a positive experience
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional recruiting experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering, or Industrial settings
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, operations, or corporate roles
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and direct outreach
  • Proficiency with ATS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
