Overview In this role, you drive compliance and equal opportunity efforts within the Human Resources Division. You lead Title IX/Title VII investigations, summarize findings, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. You'll guide disability and religious accommodations, ensure confidentiality, and stay current on laws to advise leadership. You'll develop training and contribute to affirmative action programs, strengthening university policy and employee relations. Responsibilities- Receive, review, and investigate complaints under Title IX, Title VII, ADA, and related regulations
- Prepare investigative reports, closure memoranda, and determination letters in line with policy
- Facilitate and document the interactive process for accommodations
- Provide guidance on university policies to employees and applicants
- Maintain confidentiality across all interactions
- Stay updated on federal/state law changes and advise on policy updates
- Create and deliver trainings across the university community
- Collaborate with management and HR to ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in developing the university's annual affirmative action plan and related programs
- Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree required
- 7 years related experience required
- Experience conducting Title IX/Title VII investigations and advising on equal opportunity matters preferred
- Master's or Doctorate in a relevant field preferred
