MANAGER-CLINICAL RESEARCH ADMINISTRATION

In this role you will lead and expertly support administrative aspects of industry and sponsored clinical research at UAB Dermatology. You will ensure study-wide compliance, coordinate ethics training, and drive process improvements. You will mentor staff, contribute to strategic planning, and keep abreast of advances to apply knowledge across the department. • Serve as SME for administrative duties for industry and sponsored clinical research
• Act as a referral resource for the clinical research community at UAB
• Maintain study compliance with institutional requirements
• Oversee division-wide training in ethical conduct of research
• Assess and address operational shortcomings of protocols
• Manage operational elements needed for conduct of clinical studies
• Identify efficiencies and improve processes in collaboration with colleagues
• Provide HR oversight for subordinate personnel and train staff
• Contribute to strategic planning across the institution
• Present on clinical research topics to share knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge through cross-training, literature, and seminars

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• eight (8) years of related experience
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification strongly preferred
