Overview

In this role you will drive Small Business submission flow and growth by coordinating local execution with agencies and internal partners. You will build territory plans, engage frontline producers and CSRs, and enable efficient submission through clear appetite and workflows. You will act as the in-market face, strengthening underwriting connectivity and turning insights into actionable plans. This position offers a chance to influence portfolio mix, partner experience, and growth in a collaborative, execution-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive individual submission deal flow into Small Business and manage local pipelines
  • Execute agency growth plans and align activities to portfolio goals
  • Engage with producers and CSRs through training, appetite refresh, and workflow guidance
  • Reinforce appetite fit and speed-to-quote advantages to create demand for CNA products
  • Execute local execution of national partner and growth strategies
  • Own and manage territory with accountability for production results and pipeline health
  • Develop agency-level engagement strategies including business planning and training
  • Improve agent/CSR onboarding and sustained production with internal stakeholders
  • Strengthen connectivity between Underwriting and agents to improve collaboration and hit ratios
  • Maintain market awareness and track results to inform leadership and portfolio health
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in commercial insurance distribution, agency management, or sales
  • Proven success in driving producer and CSR adoption, territory growth, and conversion
  • Ability to collaborate with underwriting and internal partners to remove barriers and accelerate flow
  • Strong communication and presence
  • Self-directed and execution-oriented
  • Collaborative and credible in-market engagement
  • Knowledge of Small Business underwriting appetite, products, and submission quality
  • Experience with agency management, pipeline stewardship, and prioritization
  • Ability to build underwriting-agency connectivity and enable account-level collaboration
