Overview As Director of Human Resources, you guide a regional HR team to deliver talent solutions that enable growth, enhance organizational effectiveness, and support operational excellence. You partner with regional leadership to shape talent, leadership, design, culture, and workforce planning at scale. You lead through people, building capability and aligning HR strategies with business priorities. You drive long-term people and culture initiatives that improve performance and engagement across the region.
Responsibilities- Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering guidance and feedback
- Collaborate with senior business leaders to design and own talent strategies focused on development, engagement, motivation, and retention
- Oversee onboarding, talent management, employee engagement, culture, development, and compensation initiatives
- Analyze HR metrics and people trends to present insights to senior leadership
- Own workforce planning, succession, and talent development initiatives
- Influence cross-functionally to impact business and talent strategy decisions
- Guide HR Business Partners and leaders on complex employee relations issues
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Organizational Development to align solutions with business goals
- Leverage industry trends to evolve talent strategies for the organization
- Lead a team of HR professionals and provide coaching and development
- Drive national and business unit talent initiatives in support of the annual operating plan
- Coordinate with enterprise functions to align regional priorities with broader company strategy
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 10 years of Human Resource Management experience with proven leadership of teams
- Strong relationship-building, credibility, and confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Effective communication in complex environments
- Strong active listening, consultation, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Balanced people orientation with results focus and analytical capability
- Construction or related industry experience helpful but not required
