Overview In this role you will lead enterprise contracting across the Americas, combining legal leadership with strategic relationship management. You will partner with business units, procurement, and executives to create transparent, mutually beneficial contracting experiences with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will drive win-win negotiations, risk-aware processes, and continuous improvement to elevate the contracting function. This is a hybrid position with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and cross-functional impact.
Responsibilities- Develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders across US, Canada, and LATAM to drive collaborative contracting solutions
- Engage external partners, vendors, and clients; represent the organization in negotiations and uphold company values
- Facilitate clear, ongoing communication throughout the contracting lifecycle and promote cross-functional collaboration
- Lead negotiations with focus on mutually beneficial outcomes using effective negotiation and conflict resolution techniques
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance contracting efficiency
- Collaborate with legal and risk teams to assess and mitigate contractual risks and ensure regulatory compliance
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (US licensed)
- 7+ years of global contract lifecycle management experience
- Experience drafting templates, negotiating agreements, and optimizing contract processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management track record
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries preferred
- Legal tech exposure with AI is a plus; agile design thinking in legal contexts is a plus
