Overview As Sr Corporate Counsel, you will support NTT DATA North America's sales and delivery teams by negotiating and documenting complex IT, digital, AI, and outsourcing agreements. You will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and provide guidance on terms, risks, and governance to enable timely, compliant commercial transactions. The role offers remote work with potential hub office options and exposure to diverse business verticals, including Healthcare, Financial Services, and Public sector. You will shape contracts and resolve disputes while supporting employment and governance matters as needed.
Responsibilities- Lead drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of IT, applications, business process, digital, consulting and AI services agreements
- Advise business clients on terms, conditions, risks, and engagement scope in outsourcing relationships (SLA, pricing, IP, termination)
- Resolve disputes with customers and ensure compliance with corporate policies
- Collaborate with internal corporate units and global stakeholders
- Manage executive briefings and escalation paths
- Provide legal support for employment law issues as needed
Key requirements- At least 5 years as a practicing lawyer with some law firm experience
- At least 3 years drafting and negotiating complex IT services agreements, including leading or second-chairing IT/outsourcing negotiations
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and interact with senior executives
- Knowledge of the market for complex IT services
- Strong written and verbal communications in English
