Overview

In this role, you lead strategic philanthropy for the Dallas region, aligning grants with the firm's business priorities and CR agenda. You will cultivate external partnerships with government, nonprofit, and community leaders while shaping a portfolio that advances economic opportunity. You'll collaborate across JPMorgan Chase teams to maximize impact, monitor trends, and drive learning through evaluation and convening. This position offers the chance to influence local economic inclusion and scale meaningful social outcomes. You will work in a mission-driven, cross-functional environment that values collaboration and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Develop market-aligned strategies with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with government, philanthropic, business, and nonprofit leaders
  • Monitor social, political, and economic trends affecting market strategies
  • Identify opportunities for firm-wide collaboration to maximize impact
  • Lead engagement with internal stakeholders (business units, leadership teams, HR, communications)
  • Communicate JPMorgan Chase's approach to expanding economic opportunity and CR initiatives
  • Oversee end-to-end philanthropic programs from concept to close, ensuring alignment with impact objectives and controls
  • Manage budgets to maximize value of philanthropic activities
  • Assess risk in the grant portfolio and implement mitigation strategies
  • Monitor grant progress and capture performance insights to inform strategy; design evaluation and communications activities
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in program development, implementation, strategy, and/or policy in nonprofit, corporate, and/or government environments
  • Deep knowledge of economic inclusion with focus on financial health, employment and labor markets, affordable housing and community development, small business and entrepreneurship
  • Strong understanding of the nonprofit ecosystem in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Plano, TX
  • Strategic thinking for solving structural issues and for program design and implementation
  • Experience with grantmaking and evaluating nonprofit capacity and track records
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative, flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset
  • High initiative and results orientation
