Overview In this Senior Testbed Architect role, you will lead the design, development, and validation of HWIL/SIL test environments for the CPS program. You work with cross functional teams to define end to end test strategies and integrate real time simulation, embedded software, and high fidelity rigs to verify GNC and autonomous capabilities. You will ensure rigorous, secure testing processes that meet performance, safety, and schedule requirements in a defense-focused setting. This position offers a chance to shape testing architectures for mission-critical defense programs while driving advanced verification practices.

Responsibilities- Lead design, development, and validation of HWIL/SIL test environments for CPS programs
- Define and drive end-to-end test strategy with real-time simulation, embedded software, and hardware rigs
- Verify guidance, navigation, and control subsystems and autonomous capabilities
- Apply real-time, fault-tolerant software testing, CI/CD automation, and system level integration
- Ensure software standards, security, and compliance within a fast-paced defense development environment
- Produce architecture documents, integration plans, and verification artifacts
Key requirements- 15+ years of progressive systems engineering experience
- Hands-on HWIL verification and simulation for mission-critical defense programs
- Proven leadership in system architecture, integration, and verification across hardware, software, real-time computing, and telemetry
- Ability to author technical proposals and present to senior leadership and customers
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance and SCIF operations
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to senior engineering leadership and customers
- Leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, defense-focused environment
- Real-time computing environments (RTOS, Linux-RT)
- Software-test tools and frameworks (LabVIEW, C++, Python, automated scripts)
