Overview In this role you will serve as the subject matter expert for HRIS platforms, primarily Workday, ensuring data integrity and delivering actionable reports and analytics. You will collaborate with HR and IT to optimize HR processes, manage system testing and releases, and drive efficient, scalable solutions. You will lead cross-functional initiatives from design to post-implementation support, focusing on continuous improvement and user adoption. Responsibilities- Provide first-line and escalated Workday support for HR and end users, diagnosing issues and proposing viable solutions
- Lead testing and implementation of Workday releases, upgrades, patches, and regression tests
- Coordinate with functional and technical stakeholders on deployment, configuration, and process documentation
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and leverage Workday to deliver scalable HR solutions
- Identify and automate HRIS processes to improve efficiency and user experience
- Manage end-to-end Workday initiatives (integrations, configurations, module rollouts) from design to post-implementation support
- Oversee change management for HR tech updates, including training materials and end-user communications
- Design and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business needs
- Run data audits to identify and correct integrity issues
- Support HR tech systems integrating with Workday, coordinating with IT and vendors
- Evaluate new HR tech needs and potential Workday modules or third-party solutions
- Provide cross-functional support to Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Onboarding to ensure data flow across the employee lifecycle
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience in HRIS/HR data analysis/HR operations or related field
- Workday experience is required
- Experience supporting HRIS implementation, integration, migration, configuration, or optimization projects (preferred)
- Strong HR data analysis and reporting skills; ability to build dashboards and derive insights
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, advanced formulas, lookups, data cleaning)
- Experience with HR metrics (headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, recruiting funnel, compensation data, demographics)
- Ability to handle sensitive data and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with employees effectively
