Overview In this role you apply your engineering and CS knowledge to support IP litigation. You will analyze technical literature, organize complex data, and generate work product for attorneys. You may identify and prep witnesses, draft discovery support, and keep abreast of developments relevant to assigned areas. The position combines technical insight with legal context to help shape case strategy and outcomes. You work closely with cross-functional teams in a professional, process-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in litigation of intellectual property matters
- Review, analyze, organize, and summarize technical literature and documents
- Analyze complex studies and data across technical fields
- Generate substantial work product within assigned expertise
- Apply technical knowledge to case needs and provide sound opinions
- Evaluate IP claims and conduct supporting research for litigation
- Locate and prep experts and fact witnesses for testimony
- Prepare for examination of witnesses and draft discovery materials as needed
- Understand full litigation scope and extract helpful information from documents/testimony
- Keep up-to-date with developments in assigned areas and track time as required
- Travel as necessary and maintain professional communication with supervisors
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering and Computer Science
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
