Overview In this role you will oversee all aspects of property operations, coordinating staff and resources to meet occupancy targets and community objectives. You will manage budgets, financials, and compliance, while maintaining positive relations with residents and authorities. You'll lead a team to deliver seamless daily operations and uphold program requirements, including HUD and tax-credit guidelines. Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day property operations, including resident relations and site staff supervision
- Oversee property resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals
- Ensure operations align with MBM policies and the property management plan
- Foster positive relationships with residents, community, and city agencies
- Process HUD certifications and evaluate resident eligibility
- Ensure timely processing of all paperwork
- Communicate operations updates to site staff; attend owner/agency inspections
- Review monthly financial reports and note variances
- Hire and supervise staff, including maintenance personnel
- Engage with local, state, and federal representatives, residents, and vendors as required
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum of two years in property management
- Customer service experience in hospitality or customer-facing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and documents
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Tax-credit experience and strong operations background preferred
- Strong communication skills; positive interaction with residents and community
