Overview In this role you will lead the people strategy for the Companion Animal BU, translating business goals into HR actions that build leadership capability and organizational effectiveness. You'll work across a global matrix with local HR, COEs, and Shared Services to enable growth and sustain engagement. Expect to guide leadership on performance, culture, and change, while delivering data-driven insights to executives. This is a strategic, hands-on HR leadership position with broad impact across regions.

Responsibilities- Act as HR Manager to BU leadership, shaping strategy and enabling BU priorities through the people agenda.
- Develop and execute the BU people plan balancing near-term needs with long-term capability and culture.
- Provide data-driven insights to support high-impact decisions.
- Coordinate between BU leadership, local HR, global HR COEs, and Shared Services; represent BU needs in global HR forums.
- Lead BU talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development; identify capability gaps and action plans.
- Drive change management including organization design and operating model shifts; monitor effectiveness via HR metrics and engagement indicators.
- Ensure consistent HR processes (performance, compensation, engagement surveys, workforce planning) and accurate HR data in Workday.
Key requirements- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience with global or regional leadership exposure
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred
- Ability to operate as a small HR function with strategic shaping and hands-on execution
- Strong business acumen linking people priorities to financial and operational outcomes
- Experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent & succession, leadership development, performance management, engagement, and change management
- Confident influencing skills to challenge and advise senior leaders in a matrix environment
- Strong analytical ability with HR data, insights, and metrics
- Comfort across countries, cultures, time zones, and diverse stakeholder groups
