Overview In this role you will support a premier securities litigation and enforcement practice. You will work on sophisticated matters for public companies, financial institutions, boards, and executives, across high-stakes disputes and regulatory contexts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage complex litigation from discovery through trial preparation and appeal. Responsibilities- Represent clients in complex securities class actions, shareholder litigation, and related disputes
- Defend public companies, boards, officers, directors, and financial institutions in high-stakes matters
- Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings in federal and state courts
- Oversee all discovery phases, including document review, witness prep, deposition strategy, and expert coordination
- Handle shareholder derivative actions, fiduciary duty claims, and governance disputes
- Support clients facing shareholder demands, internal investigations, and litigation risks
- Assist clients during SEC investigations, enforcement actions, and parallel regulatory matters
- Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and strategic resolutions
- Collaborate with lawyers across litigation, corporate, white-collar, investigations, and regulatory groups
- Conduct sophisticated legal analysis of securities laws, disclosure obligations, governance, and enforcement issues
Key requirements- JD from a top-tier law school
- Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts, New York, or California in good standing
- 4-7 years of substantive securities litigation experience
- Extensive experience litigating securities matters in federal courts and/or Delaware Court of Chancery
- Experience representing public companies, boards, officers, institutions in complex disputes
- Strong background handling securities class actions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and appellate briefs
- Experience with shareholder derivative litigation, governance disputes, and shareholder demand matters
- Experience managing all phases of litigation: discovery, witness prep, depositions, expert coordination, and trial prep
- Familiarity with SEC investigations, enforcement actions, and regulatory matters
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research skills
- Strong strategic thinking and business judgment
- Experience working effectively within large litigation teams
