Human Resources Business Partner

Overview

In this role you will provide comprehensive HR services as a trusted partner to leadership and teams, aligning people strategies with Tyler's objectives. You will collaborate across HR to identify talent, engagement and change initiatives that reinforce Tyler culture. You will lead or support leadership development, succession planning, and complex employee relations while leveraging data to guide decisions. You will impact organizational design, compensation guidance, and policy interpretation within regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to identify and develop talent and engagement solutions
  • Help develop strategy to address risk and achieve operational objectives
  • Facilitate leadership and succession planning and career development
  • Support learning and development programs and collaborate with Talent Development
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Conduct internal employee investigations and advise on complex cases
  • Analyze surveys and employment data to identify trends and recommend actions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in internal HR operations
  • Consult on organizational structure and reorganizations
  • Plan and implement change management strategies with divisional leadership
  • Provide guidance on compensation decisions, pay equity, and incentive structures
  • Interpret and apply Tyler policies, laws and regulations, and suggest policy updates
  • Model Tyler's Mission, Vision and Values and mentor others
  • Administer processes like Workers Compensation, Immigration, Leaves of Absence, etc.
  • Handle employee accommodation requests and provide creative solutions
  • Collaborate on or lead divisional and company-wide HR projects and initiatives
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience
  • Expert knowledge of employee relations and HR principles
  • Proven track record as a strategic business partner to leadership
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience across employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and workforce development
