Overview

In this role you will serve as the primary HR contact for a regional client group, guiding employees and leadership on HR matters and ensuring policy compliance. You will partner with the operations leadership to support talent development, investigations, and workforce planning within a fast-paced environment. You will apply HR expertise to improve retention, morale, and performance while contributing to broader HR strategies. This position offers the chance to shape people programs and influence business outcomes in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations and strengthen relationships between management and staff
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance including coaching and disciplinary actions
  • Conduct thorough investigations and advise on disciplinary outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with legal requirements and partner with legal as needed
  • Offer HR policy guidance and drive improvements to policies and processes
  • Prepare and analyze HR data to inform solutions and programs
  • Contribute to workforce and succession planning and other business initiatives
  • Coordinate with L&D to identify and deliver training needs
  • Assist in transfers, promotions, and demotions
  • Participate in high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and policy-aligned decisions
  • Support confidentiality and protection of sensitive information
  • Travel to other offices and work sites as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • 2 years of Human Resources generalist experience
  • Experience in employee investigations and employee relations
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong investigative, analytical, critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present HR initiatives and training programs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
