Overview As a Construction Manager on site in Charlotte, you will lead end-to-end workplace construction and renovations from concept to occupancy. You'll align cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risk, and oversee TI, office renovations, and modernization efforts. Your role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and quality while coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. You'll partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, and leadership to deliver impactful, scalable workplace projects. Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end workplace construction and renovation projects from concept through occupancy
- Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee tenant improvements, office renovations, and modernization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, environmental, and corporate standards
- Strategic planning of office and labs
- Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, resolve issues proactively
- Track budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial reporting
- Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery
Key requirements- BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- Experience with hyperscale mission critical/data center construction projects (preferred)
- PMP or similar certifications (preferred)
- 20 years of related experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of quality and safety culture, regulatory compliance, assurance, and governance expectations
- OSHA 30 certification with experience creating a strong safety culture
