Overview

In this role you will co-manage customer-owned property to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance while scaling Anduril's property management processes. You will work alongside another Government Property Manager to maintain controls across programs and locations, driving operational excellence. The role blends hands-on asset management with audits, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce risk and improve traceability. This position offers a meaningful impact on how government property is managed in a fast-paced, startup-type environment at Anduril.

Responsibilities
  • Shared accountability for customer property lifecycle operations and compliance across mandated outcomes and PM system elements
  • Analyze and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Plan and execute internal and external audits (e.g., DCMA) and address corrective actions
  • Ensure work is scheduled and performed per government regulations, contracts, and policy
  • Maintain asset management system for traceability and transaction history
  • Receive, identify/tag, and originate asset records; manage asset tagging and compliance
  • Assist in completing, reconciling, and reporting physical inventories
  • Coordinate property reviews and inventories at subcontractors for government property control
  • Report property transactions via PIEE (Shipment, Receipt, Transfer, Consumption, LTDD, Excess)
  • Provide guidance and training on government property regulations to cross-functional teams
  • Identify challenges and remove obstacles; engage stakeholders to ensure program success
  • Communicate effectively across internal and external teams via Slack, email, meetings
  • Be a team player, willing to roll up sleeves and support startup culture
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing customer property
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 52.245-1 and DFARS Part 245 and ability to apply/compliant systems
  • Experience supporting/comducting compliance audits (internal and external, e.g., DCMA, DCAA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with PIEE and property management systems/tools
  • Customer-focused, self-initiated, team player, able to work extended hours and travel
  • Able to perform warehouse/inventory physical requirements
  • Eligible to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Preferred certifications related to property management (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM) ideal
  • Eligible to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance
