Overview In this role you partner with plant leadership to translate business priorities into people strategies, driving performance, engagement, and capability. You balance local presence with regional standards as part of the North America HR Regional Team in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will work closely with AD&M leadership to align workforce, talent, and culture initiatives with business needs. You lead change, provide coaching, and ensure compliant, value-driven HR programs. This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on execution and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities- Act as the primary HR business partner to the Plant Manager and site leadership
- Support Site Complexity Assessment and implement the operating model to align workforce and HR practices
- Participate as a full member of the plant leadership team with regular site presence
- Translate BU and site strategy into workforce, talent, and culture priorities
- Develop and execute a site-specific workforce plan aligned to AD&M cycles and skill needs
- embed career paths and competency frameworks into talent planning and succession
- Coach leaders on performance, engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness
- Interpret and operate within the constraints of a Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Lead employee relations and culture reinforcement while addressing issues proactively
- Drive action planning from engagement results and hold leaders accountable for outcomes
- Champion safety, inclusion, accountability, and TE values
- Lead and support change management tied to organizational alignment and transformation
- Identify HR process improvements and drive standardization using TEOA
- Ensure disciplined execution of HR programs, policies, and compliance
- Operate within the HR Regional Partner model and leverage COEs for delivery
Key requirements- 7+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or an operational setting
- Experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist in a unionized environment
- Proven ability to influence and partner with leaders in a matrixed organization
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Must have experience working within a Union environment
- Credible coach and advisor with trust-based relationships
- Experience collaborating with union representatives and negotiating/conflict resolution skills
- Ability to operate in ambiguity while driving structure, discipline, and results
- Data-informed, process-oriented, and action-biased
- High emotional intelligence and constructive challenge of leaders
- On-site role with plant-floor engagement and up to 10% travel
