Overview

In this role you will bridge people, technology, and business transformation at a global aerospace company. You drive a high-impact UKG Time & Attendance implementation, shaping employee experience while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. As a member of the HRIS Technology Team, you influence how work gets done by partnering with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Operations to design solutions that boost efficiency and data integrity. This is a hands-on role with a clear focus on timekeeping, absence management, payroll accuracy, and workforce compliance, delivering lasting value to employees and the business.

Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end UKG Time & Attendance implementation with external Project Manager
  • Serve as primary HRIS SME for time tracking and absence requirements, translating business needs into configuration
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, data validation, and UAT
  • Support change management including documentation, training materials, and end-user readiness
  • Own post-go-live UKG Time & Attendance configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Manage audits, feature deployments, testing cycles, and upgrades for data integrity and performance
  • Administer U.S. absence and leave plans in Workday and ensure compliance updates
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to align with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot time, absence, and leave issues with root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions
  • Travel up to 25% during implementation
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience with emphasis on Time & Attendance and/or Absence Management
  • Hands-on UKG experience in a multi-state and union environment for 1,000+ employees (preferred)
  • Experience supporting system implementations in a matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of timekeeping, absence, and leave compliance (FMLA, state leave)
  • Proven ability to partner with external consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with reporting/dashboards using UKG Pro Reporting, Excel, and data visualization tools
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across projects and operations
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences
