Overview In this role you join a TX-focused creditors' rights litigation practice to pursue effective resolutions for financial institutions. You will manage a caseload end-to-end, appear in court and mediations, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver favorable client outcomes. The role emphasizes hands-on litigation with minimal billable-hour pressure and opportunities to grow in collections work. This position offers frequent courtroom exposure and the autonomy to drive cases within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities- Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
- Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes efficiently
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances; travel reimbursed
- Collaborate with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to advance cases
- Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters
Key requirements- Active law license in the State of Texas
- Ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements
- Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms
- Self-motivated, able to work independently while collaborating with colleagues
