Overview In this role within Clinical Development Sciences, you will plan, conduct, and document pivotal laboratory experiments to support clinical studies. You'll contribute to the statistical analysis of trials and drive innovation by adopting new laboratory technologies. You'll work with Sponsors and Study Managers to define study needs, while maintaining data integrity and complying with quality systems. This position offers impact across Elanco's pipeline and animal-health mission, with opportunities to lead technical solutions and optimize lab capabilities.

Responsibilities- Define project requirements with Sponsors and Study Managers; develop protocols and sample analysis plans
- Identify and implement new viral/bacterial culture methods and analytical technologies
- Review and prepare raw and laboratory data packages for statistical analysis with GxP/SOP compliance
- Lead troubleshooting, manage complex project workloads, and provide technical support for studies
- Maintain laboratory infrastructure and update SOPs/working procedures
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Animal Science, or related field
- 5-8 years hands-on laboratory experience
- Demonstrated experience with lab techniques (cell culture, assay design, molecular biology) and data analysis
- Strong understanding of experimental design and data integrity in regulated environments
