Overview

In this role you will lead architectural teams to translate client vision into high performing spaces, guiding design, documentation, and coordination to meet quality, schedule, and compliance targets. You will collaborate with clients, developers, and internal disciplines to deliver integrated solutions that align with brand and project objectives. The position emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and proactive project delivery in a collaborative, ownership-minded environment. You will shape design solutions at scale while supporting growth and knowledge sharing across the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and architectural design across projects, handling complex, schedule-driven work
  • Review and refine team work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
  • Develop detailed construction documents with emphasis on constructability and efficient delivery
  • Apply building codes, zoning, accessibility, and local standards to resolve design challenges
  • Foster coordination with internal disciplines, consultants, developers, and contractors throughout project delivery
  • Conduct final QA/QC reviews to ensure deliverables meet client requirements and timelines
  • Support proposals, scope definition, budgeting, and labor-hour estimating with technical input
  • Partner with clients, retailers, and developers to define and refine project scope and translate brand requirements into design solutions
  • Mentor architectural staff to drive professional growth and technical excellence
Key requirements
  • NAB-accredited Bachelor or Master of Architecture with RA and NCARB certification
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of job-related experience
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Advanced understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, and related software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities
