Overview In this role you lead financial/actuarial engagements for a portfolio of clients within the FAA community, shaping benefit design, funding and risk strategies. You collaborate with client service teams to translate FAA concepts into actions that improve plan performance. You'll work on cutting edge projects with industry leaders, mentor juniors, and help grow client relationships and cross sell services. The position blends client leadership, technical actuarial work, and cross functional collaboration to deliver value.

Responsibilities- Lead client engagements for a portfolio of small to complex clients and/or manage FAA resources
- Demonstrate mastery of the FAA service catalogue and benefit plan concepts
- Guide teams on cost avoidance, risk and funding strategies based on client needs
- Provide leadership to junior colleagues on FAA concepts and tools
- Review technical and consulting accuracy on projects, including pricing, contributions, plan design alternatives, and reserves
- Partner with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams for project management
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance brand
- May contribute to intellectual capital development
- Support new business growth, expansion and cross selling initiatives
Key requirements- 8+ years' experience in professional services, ideally in benefit consulting/brokerage or health underwriting/actuarial function
- Experience across multiple client segments
- Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products & services
- Knowledge and experience using big data analytic techniques
- Expert knowledge of cost avoidance, risk and funding strategies
- Subject matter expertise on emerging trends
- Ability to lead multiple clients/projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget
- Experience expanding client relationships through selling add on services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Relevant financial experience and/or university degree
- Progress towards health actuarial designation or CEBS designation (optional)
