Overview In this role you will help design, build and operate AWS storage servers and archival storage devices. You'll work with cross-team engineers to implement data-pipeline analytics, health monitoring, and remediation workflows, ensuring scalable, reliable hardware-backed services. You'll own the implementation and see direct product impact, from OS changes to automated testing and dashboards. You'll join a fast-paced, inclusive team focused on trusted, cost-efficient infrastructure that powers AWS customers. The role emphasizes ownership and hands-on problem solving at scale.

Responsibilities- Build and maintain software services for data pipeline analytics, health dispositions and remediations, qualification, validation and testing
- Manage and own trusted server systems within Amazon
- Create and use data analytics to monitor server health and deploy software solutions to improve it
- Perform OS level changes, automated testing, data analysis, and dashboard generation; introduce new NPIs
- Tackle complex problems where small occurrences have large aggregate impact
Key requirements- 3+ years of programming in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby)
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment
- 4+ years deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment
- 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
