Overview

In this role you drive pricing strategy and execution for a fast-growing InsurTech, shaping profitability through data-driven decisions. You'll lead pricing initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate actuarial insights into actions that impact billions in exposure. The position combines hands-on pricing work with strategic oversight as the team grows. You'll work on high-impact projects that align risk assessment with business goals in a cybersecurity-focused portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead pricing projects from inception to implementation, including rate plan updates and new product launches
  • Develop and improve rate indications by trending and adjusting premiums, losses, and expenses using actuarial techniques
  • Identify and execute pricing initiatives to meet strategic, often segment-specific, goals and present to senior management
  • Contribute to future team structure and reporting channels
  • Collaborate with Insurance & Tech Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Decision Engine teams to deliver pricing initiatives
  • Conduct forecasting analyses to assess long-term effects of rate changes
  • Facilitate reinsurance planning to support growth and profitability
  • Support risk review processes and participate in At-Bay risk committee meetings
  • Create or improve tools and automate processes to boost operational efficiency
Key requirements
  • 6+ years P&C pricing experience in insurance, tech, Insurtech, or consulting
  • ACAS or FCAS certification
  • 1+ year direct managerial, team lead, or mentorship experience
  • Experience leading pricing projects end-to-end with cross-functional collaboration
  • Hands-on experience with Excel and SQL mandatory; Python/R strongly preferred
  • Strong data visualization skills and experience presenting to leadership
  • Desirable: cyber, Tech E&O, MPL experience; captives/reinsurers exposure
  • Base compensation awareness not required for job content
