Overview Lead and own the reserving governance framework to ensure strong controls, thorough documentation, and policy adherence within the reserving function. Partner with Finance, Risk, and Audit to sustain compliance and promote best practices. Develop and maintain governance structures and documentation for methodologies and processes, while overseeing controls testing. Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment in a global, values-driven culture.

Responsibilities- Support and maintain the reserving governance framework across processes
- Lead documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes; keep it current
- Develop and maintain reserving policies and standards
- Oversee reserving controls and coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit on reviews and remediation
- Coordinate with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and respond to audit requests
- Promote governance standards and awareness across the reserving function
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and documentation; implement best practices across reserving activities
Key requirements- 10+ years of actuarial or related experience with exposure to reserving
- Strong understanding of governance, controls, and documentation requirements
- Experience with SOX controls and audit processes
